Is Bethenny Frankel New York Housewife a Hater?

Could New York Housewife Bethenny Frankel really be a hater? I am not sure about that, but she definitely had some things to say about the Atlanta Wives on her blog. The ATL ladies talk about it briefly on the reunion show.
Apparently everyone has an opinion of the ATL Housewives, including the ones from New York. Bethenny Frankel, of Real Housewives of New York fame, has been blogging voraciously about the ladies of Atlanta. And trust me honey, she has attempted to be fair, but snark is snark no matter how you word it.
It was interesting because in the New York season, she seemed to be the only one with a little soul out of the group, she seemed somewhat hip even, but I had to laugh when she would pick up some slang word from the the early 90’s and run with it like it was the latest saying. And she has the nerve to be clowning the ATL girls for having French Tips stating, “What is up with the French manicures and the fake tips? It is 2008 people.”
Maybe in her very small New York circles of old or not-so-old money and even older levels of hipness, things like french manicures are now gauche, but where the rest of us live, the pink and white is still the business, and newsflash, they even have new techniques since the 80’s, she should check it out.
I think the really rich and the blue bloods forget that they don’t make up the trends, they go to the hood to find them and then put money behind them, water them down, promote the hell out of them and sell them back to the masses who created them in the first place.
Bethenny was actually the only one that I liked on the show. I can see in her blog that she is really trying to temper her upper crust lifestyle with the need to not offend. I actually appreciate that, especially after statements where she puts Jill in her place.

However, I have to take her to task on what she said about the strippers looking like mud wrestlers and that they would make any man run. When is America going to wake up and understand that not every man is attracted to skinny blonde women with big boobs and no ass? Not knocking them, but they are not the only standard of beauty.
I am sorry, but I wouldn’t leave my man alone with those strippers and if I were any of the New York Wives, I wouldn’t either. Betheny said in one of her posts, that money doesn’t by you class, well, it doesn’t by you common sense either. If you think that men don’t desire black women with huge butts who know how to work it, think again. Oh, and here is another tip, men love women who come off as bitches too, so I might watch my man around Sheree as well.
I would have to say that the New York season was so out of touch. Afterall, wasn’t this the same show where one of the wives hired a guy to teach her son to breakdance? Did anyone else see that but me? Seriously, what the hell was that?
The New York wives looked like the stereotypically rich snobs that we have all seen on television looking down their noses at everyone else and believing that the world truly revolves around them. But I am sure they don’t like being stereotyped or referred to this way anymore than black people, people from the south, or the nouveau riche do. And yet Bethenny, did sort of do that in her own way, although I am sure that was not her intent.
I would love to invite Bethenny to hang out and really get to know some some real sisters. Not rich or poor, just real. And trust me darling it will be an eye opening experience.
