The Bootylicious Diva Muse

I have known about the reunion show incident for the past couple of days, and I wasn’t sure whether to even right about it. But one thing is for sure, if I do write about a story, I try not to comment on it when I only have half of it. To me, accurate news is more important than breaking news.

I watched the video of Kim Zolciak on TMZ with her lawyer stating that Lisa Wu Hartwell had sent her death threats. Kim actually plays one of the voice mails on the video and the viewer has to judge for herself. I, for one, didn’t take it as a death threat, but it was intimidating.

Well today, Lisa has spoken out about the fight and why she had an ax to grind with Kim. Apparently Kim has been spreading rumors that Lisa lost custody of her children with singer Keith Sweat because of drug abuse problems, which Lisa vehemently denies. Lisa admits that she did lose custody of her kids but the court ruling had nothing to do with alleged drug use.

I don’t know what the real problem is or why these ladies seem to feel the need to stay in each other’s lives, but I do have to say that I would be just as upset as Lisa was if someone was spreading horrible rumors like that about me, and I can’t say that I would be overly diplomatic while handling it either. Some things do cross a line

Ladies, it is simply not a very bootylicious thing to do to spread unfounded rumors like that about people. In fact, it doesn’t serve anyone even if the rumors were true to talk about them and spread them around like it is the news of the day. It’s all fun and games until kids get hurt.

I do wonder why Kim felt the need to be so dramatic as to bring a lawyer into the situation and go on television and talk about it. She has been pretty tacky every step of the way. There are rumors out there that she broke up with Big Poppa, her benefactor, so perhaps that is the impetus behind her need to now play the victim and seek sympathy from the watching public.

In any case, this has gone beyond just regular cattiness and is starting to cast the show in bad light for those of us who were trying to give it a chance. This is something that could have simply been squashed if Kim and Lisa had just talked to each other like adults. But as we know, Americans have not been known for sitting down without pre-conditions. And the funniest thing of all, everyone thought that NeNe Leakes was the wild one.

And of course as I try to get through it this very obnoxious little man who smells like he has not showered in four days and insists upon slurping his freakin Vanilla Creme Frap through the straw like he is five is sitting next to me and I really want to hit him. Anyway, I am so ready to skip right past the last episode and straight to the reunion show. But I am a patient bootylicious Diva so I will contain my excitement. I do have to say, that I am glad this drama belongs to someone else and not me. It is like watching someone else’s kid. You always want to play with it and give it a lot of attention, because you know at the end of the day, you can give it back.
