Okay, so the other night, I was watching that Celebrity Circus show and to my surprise, I saw that Stacey Dash, actress from the movie and series Clueless was one of the celebrity competitors. I always thought that she was a very beautiful young lady, but aside from a music video a few years back and a sigthing by my hubby in an electronics store in Marina del Rey even more years back, I hadn”t heard much from her.

She was performing on the Spanish Web, you know that rope that you see those waif-like creatures spinning and flipping around on? The one that requires the upper body strength and abs of steel, neither of which have ever been something that I could boast about having. Well after much trepidation during practice, she performed the acrobatic feat, and she didn”t disappoint. I have to say that after a bit of a shaky start, she was amazing, but what was even more amazing is the fact that at the time of the taping she announced that she was 41, making her actually 42 at the time of this post.
I kept saying it over and over, 42? No for real? 42? I felt like that movie, Hitchiker’’s Guide to the Galaxy.
The answer to the Ultimate Question? The booming voice answers, “FOOORRR-TYY TWWWWOO!!!!

There is no question that this woman of 42 has the ultimate answer to the question of how to age gracefully. And in addition, she is the MILF of life. Not only is she 42, she is also the mother of two. Absolutely amazing!

As everyone should know by now, I am by far not a hater so I have to give this girl her kudos. I don”t know what she is doing but whatever it is, like LL Cool J says, she is doing it and doing it and doing it well. I know that the picture that I have posted of her is a bit risque, but I just had to use it to illustrate how amazing 42 really can look. Ladies, this just proves that we are truly capable of doing anything that we put our minds to, even in our forties.

Keep in mind that I typically don”t compare myself to other women, but at 37, I can only wish to look as bootylicious as she does at 42. Having said that, I do own the bed that she is lying on in the picture. I think I will go drape some white gauze over it, wrap it strategically around my body and hope for the best. Okay, I know I am not Stacy Dash, but that is okay, because women like her inspire me to be bootylicious in my own way.

Okay, so I am not quite ready to put it all out there like Stacey, but here is a little taste. This was fun and it felt great to appreciate myself and my body.

We all have our special gifts ladies, as Ms. Dupree, the comedienne used to say, “I got the gift, I gotta use it.” I am gonna use my gifts and give hubby a glimpse of his own personal Stacy Dash, don”t hate ladies, you can do this too. White tulle is $1.99 a yard, find a bed and a camera, a glass of wine and be glamorous for an afternoon. It”ll make you feel good even if you are the only one who sees the final product. We have to be fabulous, even if that means being fab in our own minds.
